Scholarships for Descendants of Confederate Veterans

 The Canaveral Light Scholarship The Canaveral Light Scholarship for $300 is awarded every other year, and is non-renewable. The Leach Scholarship The Leach Scholarship for $400 is awarded every year, and was established in 1995 in honor of Sergeant John Wesley Leach, Co. I, 13th Regiment, Georgia Infantry, and is renewable for up to four years. Criteria for awarding both scholarships are based on financial need as well as scholastic achievement.
