General Reuben Davis(C.S.A.) was a U.S. and Confederate Congressman, a judge, a Col. in the Mexican War, a lawyer, and an author.

He is the great, great, great uncle of Mary Williams. John Williams great great grandfather William Hollingsworth, and great, great uncles Everett and Wright(Sgt) Coker (Company A, 59 Regiment Georgia Volunteer Infantry) fought at Gettysburg. Everett died from wounds at Gettysburg, PA July 2, 1863.
