Women of the ELCA synodical women's organizations (SWO) are located in 64 geographic areas (synods) in the United States and the Caribbean. SWO conventions are held biennially for all women in the synod--whether or not you participate in Women of the ELCA in your congregation. The SWO works with the conferences for program delivery, including retreats, for leadership development, and for growth and support of Women of the ELCA units.
