The Synodical Women's Organization Executive Board chooses a particular ministry or ministries as the Love Offering focus. This ministry is in line with the purpose of the SWO and the Women of the ELCA.

The Love Offering ministry is chosen every two years. During the two years, offerings and other supplies as needed by the Love Offering recipient are collected by Units. These supplies are brought to Days of Renewal or Convention where they are given to the representative.

Monetary offerings are to be sent to the SWO Treasurer or brought to Days of Renewal or Convention where there will be a special offering taken for the ministry. Checks should be made out to the "Florida-Bahamas SWO", marked "LOVE OFFERING" and include the church's name and city on the envelope. One hundred percent (100%) of these funds are transmitted to the Love Offering ministry.
